Training Courses Offered

All Courses Require the Following;

All U.S citizens ages 21 and up that are legally allowed to own/purchase/possess a firearm.

Liability Waiver for any damage, injury/ death upon use of deadly force

• All range trainings require ammo, you are welcome to bring your own, 9x19mm Parabellum available for purchase for range training only.
• For any advance course; participants are allowed to bring a personal firearm and ammo, a minimum of three magazines is required.

Cost of ammunition- Ammo is required for any live fire activity, please let us know in advance if you require ammunition. 

Firearms & ammunition will be provided. *4hrs. class / 2 hrs. range

Basic Pistol Training- this course meets & exceeds Hawaii's requirement for Basic Firearms Safety course. 

• Classroom- Knowledge of firearms and safe handling
• Range- Live fire exercise with 5 different firearms with different actions

*Max 5 per class. 

Personal Firearm Required *8hrs. class / 4 hrs. range

Basic Concealed Carry Weapons Training- this course meets Hawaii's requirement for Basic CCW course. 

• Classroom- Knowledge of firearms and safe handling
• Conceal Carry Basics
• Range- Live fire exercise with 5 different firearms with different actions

*Max 5 per class.

Hawaii County has recently published an application process for CCL within Hawaii County. Per the application process the following is required/ provided.

· Administer Qualification Using Hawaii Police Department Firearms Proficiency Test.

1. Course Provides Affidavit of Hawaii Police Department’s Firearms Proficiency test successful completion by NRA Instructor.
2. Required by FPF LLC

• Proof of Basic Pistol safety course ONLY no Hawaii Hunter Education Course
• Pistol to be carried
• Belt and Holster for firearm to be carried
• Proof of Hawaii County Firearm registration of pistol used
• Liability Waiver for any damage, injury/ death during range use and upon any use of deadly force
• Must successfully complete Hawaii County Police’s course of fire in 3 attempts or less.

        3.  Upon successful completion within 3 attempts- receive Signed original Firearms Proficiency Test Score card and Affidavit of the results.

Personal Firearm required & 150 rounds required. *3 hrs.

Basic Pistol from a Holster- This course takes individuals through drawing and firing a gun, getting individuals accustom and proficient in doing so. You are welcome to bring your firearm, additional magazines (3), ammo, belt and holster. Course provides the following;

• 4 step draw
• Firearm Positions
• Firing stance Positions
• Stationary firing and Stationary targets.

*Proof of Basic Pistol safety course or Hawaii Hunter Education Course required. 

Personal Firearm required & 250 rounds required. *3 hrs. 

The Defensive Pistol course takes individuals to the next level with in-depth 1-on-1 training and teaching move and shoot firearms training. Looking to strengthen your skill set, this is the class for you. You are welcome to bring your firearm, additional magazines, ammo, belt and holster. Courses' drills include;

• Close Quarters Engagement
• Move and shoot
• Timed Drills/ Stress fire
• Immediate action and remedial action
• Emergency reloading 
• Tactical Reloading
• Efficiency Drills
• Dominant hand firing
• Support hand firing
• Shooting from cover
• Shooting at Distance 

*Prior Basic Pistol Safety training is a pre-requisite. Prior Basic Pistol from Holster Training recommended.
